Hurricane heading towards Porbandar.

Porbandar : 10/05/2004.

Hurricane which is located 400 km south west of Porbandar is heading towards Porbandar,Veraval and Jamnagar. Latest news from met office Gujarat says that rain has started in Jamnagar district and thunder rain is forecasted in Porbandar district, fishermen been told not to travel in the sea for next 72 hours. Wind speed is expected 90 to 110 km per hour when hurricane hits land and also bringing thunder rain. People have been asked to take necessary precaution against this stormy weather mainly in Jamnagar, Porbandar and Bhavnagar districts.
