Harilalbhai Patel wins for BJP in Porbandar. Porbandar : 15/05/2004.
Stormy weather that was coming towards Porbandar but at the end it never came just like that Congress party's storm came all over India in general election but not on Porbandar as Mr. Harilalbhai Madhavjibhai Patel won it for BJP. Bharatiya Janta Party candidate beat his nearest competitor Mr. Vithalbhai Hansrajbhai Radadiya from Congress party by 5703 votes, total 7 candidates took part in this years general election for Porbandar seat. Out of 26 seats in Gujarat BJP won 14 while Indian National Congress won 12. See below for names and number of votes all the candidates received for Porbandar.
